Arif Mushtaq brings a manufacturing and financial mindset to his property business which is also his passion.
He has worked with GE Capital, Lloyds, Barclays, Accenture and Ernst Young where he has revolutionised their procurement and operations activities. His vast close network includes North East universities and local councils; contractors and even support from credible lawyers, planning consultants, and accountants. He has a track record of proven success in every role he has undertaken. He is an outstanding teambuilder who always seeks improvement. His operating style is to support, influence and develop those around him and he derives pleasure from seeing his protégé’s develop, grow and achieve success.
He enjoys time with his family when the occasion arises for him to be away from the office.

Arif joined Ashbrookes Design & Build in 2023 as part of the Development team. Arif is responsible for delivery of our development projects to ensure they are delivered on scope, on time and within agreed budget.
He is a Business Management Graduate and IOD member and has over 25 years experience in Banking and Insurance specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions as well as launching start ups in the Financial services sector.
Simon Pollard
Construction Manager
Simon brings with him over 30 years of construction management experience, He has a proven track record of meeting high expectations, managing multiple tasks and successfully delivering projects safely and on schedule.
His extensive construction knowledge, qualifications and technical trade background combine to create a successful, seasoned, all round construction professional.
Chelsey Kent

Chelsey joined Ashbrookes Design & Build in early 2024 as part of the development team. Known for her strong organizational skills and her hands on approach, Chelsey supports the team in delivering projects efficiently and effectively, ensuring quality and collaboration every step of the way.
Lesley Huitson
Finance Manager
Lesley Huitson is a highly experienced management accountant with over 30 years experience to her name.
She has operated in both the retail and construction industries and brings a deep working knowledge of both Sage & QuickBooks accounting software systems, particularly with respect to construction project financing.
